What a perfect place for a family Christmas celebration! It was everything we hoped for and more!!! Plenty of space for everyone including our four legged friends (who were hoping for a longer if not permanent stay). As for the children, they simply enjoyed spending time in nature including daily visits from the parrots and the horse next door. We would love to return for a longer stay and further explore this beautiful region and all it has to offer. Thank you from The Fletcher Family.

Thank you for providing such a cosy and comfortable home away from home. All the mobility aids were greatly appreciated, makes going away so much easier. Our second stay at Country House Retreat and just as special as it was last year! Thank you Kim, Stephen, Hugo and horses Honey and Billy for hosting us at your little piece of paradise in Nungurner. So close to Metung (enjoyed the boardwalk and Cafe Aroma) and Lakes Entrance (handy for food and other supplies and absolutely love the Entrance walk and watching the seals surf into the Entrance!). Thank you Kim & Steve - what a beautiful home and surrounds, a great place to relax and unwind with plenty to do and see nearby. We loved the table tennis, indoor living spaces, kitchen, log fire and spa, and watching the birds outside. Kylie (& Jessica, 14). PS, Loved Nyerimilang Park and homestead. Great spot to visit just a few minutes away!

What a large and generous home in a beautiful and tranquil setting. We loved our time at the Country House Retreat. It comfortably accommodated our three generations of family. What a beautiful home on a lovely property to relax, unwind and a welcomed change of scenery. We enjoyed using the pizza oven, outside area, fire pit and that every part of the house had a stunning view of the property and sheep. The property was wheelchair friendly which is a massive plus for our family and both Kim and Steve were accommodating to our needs for our son. Thank you and we hope to be back! What an amazing place to sit back and unwind, surrounded by lush green fields and bush land. We fell in love instantly. We could sit back and listen to, feed and watch the parrots and brids around the property. We were welcomed by a lovely flock of sheep at the entrance, then to drive up to an amazing country house with separate yard great for our french bull dogs. They love to run and loved it so much also. Large rooms and everything you could think of to have a very comfortable stay. Thank you so much for this, we really enjoyed everything about it and wish to come again soon. Merry Christmas, Robbie & Doug.
Thanks Kim & Steve. We really enjoyed our stay at the Country House Retreat! The breakfast provisions for the first day was excellent. We had fun at the table tennis table. And our pizzas from the pizza oven was great. Last but not least, ending the day in the jacuzzi made our stay complete. Kim & Steve, we're recharged and relaxed and rewarded after our stay. Thanks for your thoughfulness and hospitality. It was honestly like staying in a friends home - the decor and feel of the place - a truly warm character. And of course we loved the wood fire, the spa and the pizza oven.
